I grew up a small-town girl from Winterset Iowa. After graduating, I moved to Waukee to begin the next chapter of my life. I'm a proud momma of two very active boys! I am well versed in all things BOY! In addition to my full-time positions in administration for Central Iowa Dermatology and Blank Children's Hospital, I am also the proud owner of Sugar Lane Studios, formally known as Sugar Lane Soap Co., founded in 2017.  I initiated this business with the goal of creating products that are safe, nourishing and good for your skin. My business is my creative outlet for calming the everyday chaos which is life!

Our products are formulated free of toxic ingredients, using only pure, all natural, essential oil infused fragrances that are paraben & phthalate free for even our most sensitive skin users. As Sugar Lane Soap Co. developed into much more than soaps, Sugar Lane Studios was born in 2019. In our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, our packaging is BPA-free, biodegradable, & recyclable.
